Happy 1st day of hurricane season. Looks like it is going to be a busy season. We've already had one subtropical system and it looks like another one is making up as I type. I am almost hoping for it since we are so dry here. We are in Drought Stage 2 and quickly heading for Stage 3.

Tropical storm

The first tropical system of the season. It will probably become Alberto by
this evening. It is too early to tell where he will go but forecast models
right now are taking it over FL and into GA and SC. Oh goody. It's going to be a long season.
